Warranty

Straightforward terms, in plain language: what's covered, what voids it, and how to file a claim if you ever need to.

  • WRITTEN WARRANTY
  • RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL
  • MAINTAINED FLOORS

01 / WHAT'S COVERED

A written warranty, from day one.

Every Kratos install carries a written warranty: 15-year on residential floors, 10-year on commercial installs, starting the day your install is complete. Coverage means what it says: Peeling, delamination, hot-tire pickup and UV yellowing on properly maintained floors.

That coverage assumes the floor is used and cleaned the way we tell you to use and clean it — see the maintenance requirements below. A warranty is a commitment about how the system performs when it is installed correctly and maintained reasonably, not a blank guarantee against anything that could ever happen to a concrete floor.

The residential and commercial terms differ because the two see different demands: a garage floor deals with occasional vehicle weight and household chemicals, while a commercial floor sees daily foot traffic, forklifts, or industrial cleaners depending on the space. We set the term for each accordingly, and we will tell you exactly which one applies before you sign anything.

02 / WHAT'S NOT COVERED

What voids it.

The warranty does not cover damage from impact (a dropped tool, a dragged appliance), chemical exposure outside normal household or shop use — citrus-based degreasers and harsh solvents in particular — or damage from a coating, sealer, or repair applied by someone other than Kratos after install.

It also does not cover new cracking caused by structural movement of the slab itself after install, such as foundation settlement, which is a property issue independent of the coating. And it does not cover a floor where the moisture test we recommended was declined, or where our recommended mitigation was skipped — that is a risk we flag before we coat, in writing, so it is not one you discover later through a denied claim.

03 / MAINTENANCE

What keeps it covered.

Sweep or dust-mop regularly, and mop with water or a neutral pH cleaner when it needs it. Clean up chemical spills — oil, coolant, pool chemicals near an exterior system — promptly rather than letting them sit. Use furniture pads or a mat under anything with sharp feet or metal edges that could gouge the topcoat.

Avoid citrus-based degreasers, abrasive scouring pads, and pressure washing directly at the topcoat with an aggressive nozzle. None of this is unusual maintenance — it is close to how you would already treat a hardwood or tile floor, translated to a garage or patio.

04 / TRANSFERABILITY

It can move with the property.

This warranty is transferable to a new owner if the property sells. If you sell your home or business, notify us of the change of ownership and, where the warranty transfers, the remaining term carries over under the same maintenance requirements — there is no separate transfer fee.

05 / FILING A CLAIM

How to reach us.

Call (623) 000-0000 or email info@kratosconcretecoatings.com with your install date or address, a description of what you are seeing, and photos if you have them. We will schedule an inspection, and if the issue falls under warranty, repair it. If it does not, we will tell you why and give you an honest estimate to fix it anyway.

06 / GET A NUMBER

Get a number, not a pitch.

  1. 01

Send photos or book a visit

Whichever is faster for you — both work.

  2. 02

    We measure and inspect

Slab condition, cracks and moisture, on-site or from your photos.

  3. 03

    You get a written quote

A firm number and an install date, not a range that moves later.
